Real Estate Billionaire Leona Helmsley died August 20th at the age of 87. I doubt anyone wept. This woman was infamously known as the Queen of Mean… and was quoted right before going to jail for Tax Evasion that ” Only the Little People Pay Taxes”. What a roll model for the youth of our nation!!

It gets better. Leona would fire any of her employee’s on the spot at her properties for basically, well.. whatever she felt like… has gifted $12 Million to her surviving… ready for this… Dog!!! Trouble, Helmsley’s White Maltese, is now a millionaire.

On a side note Harry Helmsley, the person who actually created the Real Estate Empire Leona got to enjoy was known as one of the greatest deal makers of his time. That said, their holdings included properties in the Boston and Metro Markets.. I wonder what the trustees of her estate will liquidate to pay off Trouble
