Help! My Big Bed Apartment is still Available for Sept 1st!!!

You can consider this post a public service announcement for all the landlords out there who focus on college rentals.

If you’re a landlord that still has a big bed apartment (think 5 - 10 beds) and it’s not rented yet for September 1st, 2007 its time to reduce the price.

Most of the students looking for such an apartment have already committed to a place and you don’t want to miss the few remaining groups that are still searching.

When it comes to rentals Some Rent is much better than No Rent. Especially, if you’re a landlord in Mission Hill, Allston, or Brighton your window is limited and closing. My company sees a huge drop-off in the first week of May for the college season. Basically, landlords, you got 8 weeks left - reduce your price now before all the big bed groups dry up.

I’ve seen these huge apartments go vacant until the next student cycle; accompanied with unhappy landlords trying to rent these big bed apartments by the bedroom to cover the utilities and taxes.

Remember Some Rent is always better than No Rent. Now drop your rent by 50 bucks a bedroom and lets get these puppies rented before you’re posting Ad’s on Craigslist trying to rent by the room.
