It appears, according to boston.com that the owner of the depleted lot on which the former Filene’s basement site, Vorando Realty Trust, is unwilling to accept it’s demise on the project and sell at a hefty loss. Reportedly bids came in around $50 Million or about a quarter of what Vorando paid for the site. [...]
